Using his vast imagination, and a great amount of dedication, Shaun Tan created an interesting and powerful story to all who reads, and understands it. It captures how life is for migrants seeking refuge. The book ‘’Arrival’’ showed us a lot of determination to spread the wise message he had. Only having images we had to interpret every miserable image. except for a few that brought life and promising signs for the lonely migrants. Shadows and darkness followed the newcomers constantly.
This story gave us an insight of the harsh reality In our sometimes cruel world. It is horrible to imagine that behind the scenes, people treat others in such a grotesque manner. The book ‘’A True Person’’ really nailed how inhumane this system is. Sending people to crowded camps isn’t impressive and doesn’t make Australia look good. We can’t ignore this issue, it is a growing problem that must be stopped. As a nation, Australia needs to understand and realise the bad fortune these people have had. This story explains how life is for a large quantity of people. We need to give these people attention and focus on how it impacts them.

Robert Frost was born in San Francisco. His Dad was a great journalist but sadly died when Robert was 11. In 1912 Frost sold his farm and took his wife and four young children to England. He went to University but came back without a degree. Robert had many metal breakdowns ass he lost all of hid family members. He was interested in literature and enjoyed writing, to be more pacific poetry. he made a large amount of poems and some became quite famous. He was an amazing inspiration to many people.
As this young country grew civilization so to the parish. An inspiring man in James Dixon made the catholic church in Australia stronger and as one. He came to Australia with a bad reputation as a convict but showed leadership and inspiring wisdom when he held the first mass on Australian soil. James Dixon arrived in NSW [ New South Wales] 16th January 1800. He came from Ireland in his easy going family. The Governor at the time granted his wish to add religious faiths to the community. He became a priest and was passionate about a first mass. 15th of May 1803 Fr. Dickson held the first mass on Australian soil. This celebration was in Sydney. As more convicts came to Australia James Dixon business as a priest [ he was getting paid] rose to become a massive thing for the the people of the community. James Dixon Is one of the key elements in Australian history.

A clock is used to indicate or keep time. The clock is one of the oldest human inventions and in the 15th and 16th century making clocks flourished. Astonishingly people back a few hundred years told what time it is…just by looking at the sun, its simple but it worked. Clocks come in different shapes and sizes, there analog clocks or digital and we all use them every day. It helps a lot, so we can keep a schedule going.
